The following is a mix of photos taken during Tanny and Zahroof's visit. Eugenia was their tour guide for the most part whereas I hung out with them at night and the weekend. They made a trip to the Badaling section of the Great Wall and Zahroof ate she rou or snake meat at the Wangfujing street market. Tanny, Eug and I also made it to a place called Shi Du (ten ports) about 110km southwest of Beijing on Saturday. This place is often described as the Guilin of the north (Zahroof actually went to Guilin last weekend) though I am sure it's not as pretty. Still, we did a nice hike there and it was full of beautiful peaks. We also got to ride horses there.
